Paul Rodgers is a Professor of Design at the University of Strathclyde since July 2020 and a founding member of the Design Disruption Group, which aims to drive positive change through disruptive design. With a distinguished academic background that includes roles as Professor of Design at Lancaster University and Professor of Design Issues at Northumbria University, Paul has contributed significantly to design research. As a former Design Leadership Fellow with the Arts and Humanities Research Council, Paul focused on interdisciplinary approaches to advancing design research. Previous experience includes work as an AHRC Design Research Fellow with Alzheimer Scotland, CEO of Product Scotland, and a Reader in Design at Napier University. Paul holds a PhD in Product Design Assessment from the University of Westminster and a Master of Arts in 3D Design from Middlesex University.
