Chirantan Chatterjee

Chirantan Chatterjee, FREcon FRSA, serves as a Professor of Development Economics at the University of Sussex, specializing in Innovation and Global Health within the Science Policy Research Unit at U-Sussex Business School. Currently holding various positions, including Deputy-Lead for UoA 17 REF 2029 submission and Visiting Professor at both Ahmedabad University and the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Chirantan also engages as a Fixed Term Graduate Faculty member at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additional roles include Advisory Board Member for CITYDATA.ai and Independent Consultant for ThinkMD.ai, with prior experience as a Visiting Fellow at Stanford's Hoover Institution and as a Co-Director for policy training at SPRU. Chirantan's academic credentials include a PhD and MPhil from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA from IIM Calcutta, and a B.Tech from IIT Roorkee.
