Claire Smith

Claire Smith is an accomplished academic professional currently serving as Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor Education and Innovation at the University of Sussex, a role that involves leading critical projects under the 'Learn to Transform' strategy and enhancing digital innovation in education. Previously, Claire held the position of Professor of Anatomy and Head of Anatomy at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, where responsibilities included budget management and providing anatomical education to over 3,000 students. Claire has also worked as a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton.
