Teresa Leslie

Director-ne SARE & Research Faculty at University of Vermont

Teresa Leslie is a seasoned professional in public health and research, currently serving as the Director of NE SARE and Research Faculty at the University of Vermont since January 2024, while also contributing as a Public Health Associate at the Center for Religion and the City at Morgan State University. With extensive experience as the Public Health Research Director at EcoRAY since October 2019 and previously as the Scientific Director at IVAC, Bloomberg School of Public Health, Teresa has developed impactful educational programs, including a comprehensive contact tracing curriculum for community health workers. Teresa's earlier roles include directing the Eastern Caribbean Public Health Foundation and the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine's research initiatives, as well as academic positions at the University of Maryland College Park. Teresa holds a Bachelor's degree from Howard University, a Master's degree from the University of South Carolina, and a PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
