Jennifer Slaughter

Jennifer Slaughter is a legal professional with extensive experience in higher education and student health matters. Currently serving as a Special Advisor at the University of Virginia since December 2019, Jennifer holds multiple advisory roles, including positions with the Senior Associate Vice President of Student Health and Wellness, the Interim Vice President of Student Affairs, and the Executive Director of Student Health & Wellness. Prior to this, Jennifer was an Associate General Counsel for UVA Physicians Group from November 2006 to December 2019 and worked as an Associate Attorney at Feil, Pettit & Williams, PLC from August 1999 to June 2003. Jennifer began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Court of Appeals of Virginia from July 1998 to July 1999. Jennifer earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Penn State Dickinson Law and a Bachelor’s degree in History, cum laude, from Washington and Lee University.
