Kevin O'Neill

Kevin O'Neill is an accomplished planning professional with extensive experience in transportation and urban development. Currently serving as an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington since November 2022, Kevin previously held leadership roles at WSP USA as a Senior Planning Manager and at the City of Seattle in various capacities, including Deputy Director of the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) and Street Use Director. Kevin's expertise encompasses transit project management, policy development, and urban design, with a notable career that includes significant contributions to the planning divisions of the City of Bellevue and City of Kent. Kevin began the professional journey in community development planning in St. Louis. Educational credentials include a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
