Matthew Hepenstal

Matthew Hepenstal is a seasoned accounting and finance educator and professional, currently serving as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Winchester since 2020. Prior to this role, Matthew contributed as a Part-Time Lecturer in accounting at Havant and South Downs College from September 2018 to March 2022, teaching the AAT syllabus to a diverse group of aspiring accountants. Matthew's extensive industry experience includes directorial positions at BDO from 2016 to August 2018 and Deloitte from 2011 to 2016, as well as a Senior Manager role at PwC from 1994 to 2011. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in 1981, and attended King Edward VI Grammar School in Aston, Birmingham from 1969 to 1976.
