Ignacio Meyer

Ignacio Meyer is the EVP of Music & Non-Scripted Entertainment at Univision. Ignacio has over 20 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry.

Ignacio started their career as a marketing manager at Visa International. Ignacio then became the managing partner of KONEXXION Enterprises, a company that provides marketing and business development services to Latin American businesses.

In 2001, they became the director of communications and marketing for IFPI Latin America, representing over 1500 record companies in 46 countries. Ignacio then took on the role of director of business development for the Latin Recording Academy from 2002-2006. In this role, they were responsible for increasing membership and boosting awareness of the Academy’s activities and Grammy Awards in the Latin music industry.

From 2006-2011, they served as a shareholder at WILAEN, a wireless Latin entertainment company that provides culturally relevant products and services such as mobile platforms, messaging services, content, and games.

Ignacio joined Univision in 2011 and has since been responsible for music programming and non-scripted entertainment across all Univision networks. Under their leadership, Univision has become the #1 Spanish-language network in the US.

Ignacio Meyer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing and Communications from the University of Miami. Ignacio also has a High School diploma from Christopher Columbus High School.

Ignacio Meyer reports to Jessica Rodriguez, Chief Brand & Impact Officer. They are on a team with Nathan Smith - VP, Content Management, Jorge Domínguez - SVP, Creative Services, and Leonor Sotillo - SVP, Scripted Strategy.
