Mona Abuzahra has a diverse range of work experience. Mona served as the President of the Arab Student Union at the University of Miami, where they led and revitalized the organization, established partnerships with other student organizations and departments, and advocated for the needs of Arab students. Mona also founded and directed Refugee Lens, a nonprofit photography project facilitated by UNRWA schools in the West Bank, which highlighted the lives of Palestinian refugees. Additionally, Mona has held roles as a Student Director at Oxbridge by WorldStrides, a Wellness Director and Diversity and Inclusion Consultant at Orange Umbrella Miami, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami, and a Communications Intern at Gymshark. Mona has also worked as an Arabic Linguist Intern at TLF Apparel and participated as a Photographer at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. In the future, they will be joining UNICEF.
