Eric Christiansen

Eric Christiansen is a Data Scientist II at Unum since January 2021, specializing in developing analytic and machine learning capabilities within the organization's risk universe. Previously, Eric served as a Data Scientist I, providing data-driven insights to internal audit partners and maintaining essential data pipelines. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Associate at Alvarez & Marsal, where Eric produced accounting and economic analyses for financial investigations and led community engagement initiatives as chairperson of the A&M Young Professionals Washington, DC chapter. Earlier, Eric worked as an Investment Analyst at Aon Hewitt, supporting client teams with financial data management. Eric holds a Master's of Science in Data Analytics Engineering from George Mason University and a BBA and BA in Finance and Economics from William & Mary.
