Atkinson has experience in international expansion, having led the sales growth of edtech businesses ITPM and Ducere Global Business School. This includes launching upGrad’s B2C arm in the region, developing industry partnerships across sectors, and creating innovative new B2B offerings.

Saurabh Deep Singla is the current Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at [upGrad](/org/upgrad). Saurabh has over fifteen years of experience in the field of engineering and technology. 

Singla started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at tavent technlogy. Saurabh spent two years there before moving on to [InMobi](/org/inmobi) in October 2008. At [InMobi](/org/inmobi), they served as Lead Software Engineer for four years. In 2012, they left [InMobi](/org/inmobi) to join [WittyParrot](/org/wittyparrot) as Director of Engineering. 

In 2014, Singla co-founded ShopG, a shopping platform that helps users find the best deals on products and services online. Saurabh served as ShopG's Director of Engineering until July 2021. 

In August 2019, Singla joined [upGrad](/org/upgrad) as CHRO. [upGrad](/org/upgrad) is an online education platform that offers courses in a variety of subjects, including business, technology, and design.

Pearl Singporewalla is the Director of New Programs at [upGrad](/org/upgrad). Prior to this, they worked as a Supervisor for Customer Service at Jet Airways from March 2004 to June 2014. At Jet Airways, they oversaw the Airport Services team of 80 members and was responsible for ensuring coordination and team work, as well as maintaining “On Time Performance” of Jet Airways at all times. Pearl was also in charge of the launch of the online “Airport Portal” at Bangalore, a one stop link for updates and access of all data across airports. Other notable projects they have undertaken include the system upgrade from the ACSI (Airport Check-in System Integrated) version of SABRE to the latest version of SSCI (Sabre Sonic Check-In) at Bangalore station, for which they conducted two day training for all team members over a period of 3 months.

Smit Desai is a Senior Manager at upGrad, a leading online education platform. Smit has been with the company since March 2021 and has played a key role in its Corporate Development division.

Prior to joining upGrad, Smit worked as a Management Trainee in the Accounts department of HDFC Standard Life Insurance. Smit was responsible for conducting financial statement analysis, developing financial models, and conducting in-depth research for thematic reports.

Varun Garg is the President of Learning Experience at upGrad. Prior to joining upGrad, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from April 2015 to January 2016. Varun has also worked as a Summer Associate at The Boston Consulting Group from April 2014 to June 2014. Varun started their professional career as an Equity Research Analyst at JP Morgan from April 2011 to May 2013, where they worked in IT Services, Internet, Media Entertainment and Education sector in Asia. Varun then worked as an Associate at [Morgan Stanley](/org/morgan-stanley) from August 2010 to April 2011, where they worked on automated test suites for [Morgan Stanley](/org/morgan-stanley)’s Trading Platform.
