Matt Miller

Matt Miller is the Chief Legal Officer at Uptake, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to joining Uptake, Miller served as the General Counsel for Green Thumb Industries (GTI) from January 2019 to October 2019. From September 2011 to January 2019, Miller was the Vice President Deputy General Counsel: Global Litigation, Global IP, and International Legal at Groupon. Matt also spent two years as a partner at Much Shelist from September 2007 to September 2009. Miller began their legal career as an attorney at their own law firm, Matthew S. Miller LLC, where they worked from 2005 to 2007 and again from 2009 to 2011. In 2020, they founded BARK, a law firm that provides general counsel services, dispute resolution, litigation services, and legal consulting.

Matt Miller has a J.D. cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a B.A. in Philosophy from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and certification from the American Arbitration Association as a Panelist - American Arbitration Association National Roster of Arbitrators and from the U.S. Soccer Federation as a US Soccer License E.

Their manager is Kayne Grau, CEO & Board Member. They are on a team with Tim Clutter - VP, Finance, Linda Bartman - President, and Brian Fairweather - Chief of Staff.
