Yong-Jae Kim

Yong-Jae Kim is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as General Counsel at Uranium Energy Corp since July 2022, Yong-Jae previously held the role of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Silvercorp Metals Inc from May 2018 to July 2022. Earlier in a distinguished career, Yong-Jae was a Partner at Gowling WLG Canada from February 2010 to April 2018 and worked as an Associate at Lawson Lundell LLP between May 2003 and January 2010. Additionally, Yong-Jae served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Madam Justice Carol Huddart at the British Columbia Court of Appeal from September 2004 to September 2005. Academically, Yong-Jae holds an LL.B. in Law from Queen's University (2001-2004) and a B.A. in History from The University of British Columbia (1995-1999).
