Claude Christensen

Claude Christensen is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Congressional Liaison at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where responsibilities include legislative activities related to pesticides and toxic chemicals programs and managing public communications during emergency responses as a trained Public Information Officer. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant for Research at Texas A&M University, where Claude focused on water infrastructure policy and governance, and as a Student Trainee at EPA, where Claude contributed to public information efforts and community engagement. Claude’s background also features a tenure as a Capacity Building & Community Engagement Coordinator at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, supporting local food access during the COVID-19 pandemic, along with writing contributions to the Devil Strip publication and service as a substitute teacher. Claude holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
