Carol MacKinlay

Carol is the chief people officer at UserTesting, overseeing the talent, people operations, diversity, workplace, and procurement functions. Prior to UserTesting, Carol held the top hr/administration roles at Plantronics (NYSE: PLT), Xero (ASX: XERO), Synopsys/Coverity, Borland/CodeGear, Jawbone, and Matterport. Prior to her work in technology, Carol was a management consultant with both KPMG and in private practice performing studies on financial, operation, and compensation-related subjects. Carol received a BA in Applied Mathematics from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA in Tax and Accounting from the Marshall School of Business at USC while on fellowship. Carol is a board member and advisor to several startup ventures including Tanzle and SuccessBuilder. Carol lives in Los Gatos with her husband and daughter.
