Michael Torrens

Michael Torrens currently serves as the Executive Director of Analysis Assessment & Accreditation at Utah State University, a role held since January 2010. Prior to this, Michael served as the Director of Applied Research & Innovation at CFED from July 2004 to January 2010, where efforts focused on expanding economic opportunities for individuals and communities. Michael also held the position of Executive Director at New Jersey Community Capital from 1993 to 2001, following various roles including Senior Lender and Director of Lending. Earlier in his career, Michael was the Assistant to the Program Officer for Oikocredit in Zimbabwe from 1991 to 1992. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Policy from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from Brown University.
