McKenna Dyjak

Mckenna Dyjak is a GIS Analyst II at UDC since June 2020, with prior experience as a Science Communication Intern at Time Scavengers, where responsibilities included authoring accessible blog posts on climate change and evolutionary theory. Mckenna also served as a Wetlands Division Intern for the Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County, handling wetland delineation and permitting while using ArcGIS. Additional experience includes a role as a Student Assistant at the School of Geosciences at the University of South Florida, digitizing fossil specimens, and a Research Assistant position in the Communication Sciences and Disorders department, focusing on auditory research. Mckenna holds a degree from the University of South Florida, with a minor in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences, and graduated from Palm Harbor University High School.
