Jacobine Buizer-Voskamp

Jacobine Buizer-Voskamp, PhD, serves as the Managing Director of the Strategic Theme Dynamics of Youth at Utrecht University since June 2013, where responsibilities include coordination of policy and management, external connection and strategy, and day-to-day management. In addition, Jacobine holds roles such as Executive Director of the YOUth cohort study and Project Manager for various initiatives, overseeing organizational, financial, and technical aspects as well as data collection processes. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher and PhD student at UMC Utrecht, where research focused on the link between Copy Number Variation load, increased parental age, and psychiatric disorders, particularly schizophrenia. Jacobine holds a PhD in Medicine and an MSc in Biomedical Sciences and Science Communication, having completed various professional development courses throughout the career.
