Pieter Vanautgaerden

Pieter Vanautgaerden currently serves as the head of medical software applications and development at UZ Leuven since September 2023. Prior to this role, Pieter held multiple positions at nexuzhealth from January 2018 to September 2023, including Director of Engineering - Products and Product Manager. Pieter has a substantial history with UZ Leuven, where from December 2002 to January 2022, various roles were undertaken, including head of patient-related software development, coordinator of patient-related software development, team lead of software development, and senior software engineer. Pieter earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial Sciences with a focus on Electronics Engineering from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven between 1996 and 2002.
