Rodney Chiu

Rodney graduated with full scholarship from MIT with a MS in Aeronautics & Astronautics Engineering. He holds 6 patents in Applied Materials and publication in surveillance vehicle research for US Navy. With strong technical background and over 10 years of experience in manufacturing & operations, Rodney has helped companies like Apple, Google, Square, Tesla, & Amazon to bring concept designs into mass productions at Foxlink, one of the largest OEM/ODM in the world. Previously, Rodney worked at Apple where he managed strategic supply chain and Macs production.

At Foxlink, Rodney is responsible for developing company’s long-term growth strategies and heading enterprise investment in US, as well as investigating IoT, AI, wearable, robotics, big data, and mobile technologies. He is also a Vice President of PQI, a consumer electronics brand company listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange, where he develops online & offline retails in US. Rodney also serves on the board of directors of Intelligent Structures Inc., an information and decision support company, which applies cloud based enterprise software and industrial internet sensor networks to create high performing structures for a safer and more productive world. With the unique combination of technology, manufacturing, sales, and investment experience, Rodney is making an important and positive impact on V5’s go-to market and product development strategy.
