Lauren Young

Lauren Young has over five years of legal experience, currently serving as Corporate Counsel - Commercial at Vacasa since December 2018. In this role, Lauren provides innovative contract solutions and risk assessments to the Sales team and has modernized the contract revision process, resulting in a 90% reduction in necessary revisions. Previous positions at Vacasa include Associate Counsel, where Lauren managed employee equity and assisted with the company's transition to a public entity, and Contract Attorney, where meticulous contract compilation was undertaken. Lauren's earlier experience includes externships at adidas and the Oregon Department of Justice, along with editorial roles at the Oregon Review of International Law and the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation. Lauren holds a J.D. in Business Law from the University of Oregon School of Law and a degree in History with Pre-Law Studies from Washington State University.
