Senior Mining Engineer - Long Range Planning, Totten Mine at Vale

Greg Yuriy P.Eng., MASc is a seasoned Senior Mining Engineer with extensive experience at Vale since June 2008, specializing in long-range planning at the Totten Mine and contributing to various initiatives focused on safety and continuous improvement across Ontario Operations. Prior to Vale, Greg worked at BESTECH from October 2004 to June 2008 as an Automation Specialist and Simulation Specialist, where responsibilities included programming and troubleshooting automated mining systems and conducting discrete-event simulations. Greg has a strong educational background, holding a Master of Applied Science in Mineral Resources Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
