Caren D. has a diverse work experience in the field of sports psychology. Caren is currently employed as an Elite Coach at Valor Performance, Inc., where they provide online coaching to clients, helping them reach their full potential and improve their performance through working on their mental game.
Prior to their current role, Caren owned and operated their own consulting firm called Omnipresence Consulting, starting in 2019.
From 2016 to 2018, Caren worked as a Senior Sport Psychologist at Institut Sukan Negara Malaysia. Here, they developed tailor-made sports psychology programs, provided individual and group coaching to athletes and coaches, and focused on mental skills training, mindfulness, and helping athletes become more independent. During their time there, they worked with successful athletes who achieved Olympic medals, world championships, and other international accolades in diving, bowling, and sailing.
Before joining Institut Sukan Negara Malaysia, Caren worked as a Sport Psychologist at various organizations. Caren worked with a UAE national figure skater and triathletes as a self-employed Sports Psychologist in 2015. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Sports Psychologist at Transform Specialist Medical Centre, where they developed tailored sports psychology programs, provided coaching to athletes and clients, and assisted with post-injury care.
Prior to that, Caren worked as a Sport Psychologist at UPANDRUNNING Integrated Sports Medical Center from 2012 to 2014. Caren also provided a workshop on emotional intelligence and diversity at Akademie für Internationale Bildung in 2012.
In addition to their clinical work, Caren has also conducted workshops on sport psychology. Caren held workshops on the importance of sport psychology at Western India Football Association and Sporting Clube de Goa in 2011. Caren also conducted a workshop specifically for Kenkre Football Club, focusing on sport psychology for young athletes.

Caren D. began their education at the International School of Tanganyika from 1987 to 1997. Caren then pursued their International Baccalaureate at the same institution from 1997 to 1999. Caren continued their education at the University of South Wales from 1999 to 2002, earning a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Caren furthered their studies at Temple University from 2003 to 2005, obtaining an MEd in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Finally, Caren completed their education at the University of Wolverhampton from 2006 to 2010, earning a PhD in Sport Psychology.
