Marloes Smit

Marloes Smit is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in withholding tax services and securities administration. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Withholding Tax Services at Van Lanschot Kempen since July 2022, Marloes has previously held positions at Clearstream as a Securities Administrator in the Tax Department from July 2017 to March 2022, and at KAS BANK as a Young Professional in Tax Operations from January 2016 to June 2017. Early career experience includes internships in international tax consultancy at Baker Tilly Berk and tax consultancy at VHM l ABC Accountants & Tax Advisors. Marloes holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and European Tax Law from Maastricht University and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Fiscal Economics from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School, along with a strong foundational education in fiscal studies.
