Mark van Koningsveld

Mark van Koningsveld is a seasoned professional in the fields of civil engineering and maritime studies, serving as Program Director for Vox Innovation and holding various engineering roles at Van Oord since 2008. Concurrently, Mark is a Professor of Ports & Waterways at Technische Universiteit Delft and has been an influential figure in the Topsector Water & Maritiem, both as Captain of Science and previously as Secretary. With a strong research background, Mark has contributed significantly to Deltares and EcoShape, and has experience in advisory roles within coastal research organizations. Mark earned a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Twente, complemented by an MSc in Integrated Modelling from the same institution, along with an executive education at INSEAD.
