Eli Sennesh

Eli Sennesh is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University since October 2023, with a rich background in computer science and neuroscience. Previously, Eli served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University College of Computer and Information Science, focusing on variational Bayesian methods and deep learning in affective neuroscience. Experience includes software engineering at Adept Mobile, contributing to backend systems and mobile applications, as well as firmware engineering for Google's Project Ara at LeafLabs LLC. Eli also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and is pursuing a PhD in Cognitive Science at Northeastern University, alongside a Master of Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Noteworthy contributions include the development of an open-source programming language, Deca, and multiple publications as a columnist for The Massachusetts Daily Collegian.
