Terje Johnsen

Terje Johnsen is a seasoned professional in technical safety and barrier management, currently serving as Team Lead for Technical Safety/Barrier Management at Vår Energi since November 2023, following extensive experience at Statoil where roles included Technical Team Lead and Senior Engineer focused on technical safety at Hammerfest LNG. Prior positions include Technical Team Lead at Equinor, Engineer in Fire & Safety at Norconsult AS, Engineer HSE in design at Aker Solutions, and Engineer in Fire & Safety at Multiconsult. Terje holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Prevention and Safety Technology from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and furthered education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
