Yzhar Kayser

Yzhar Kayser is the current Chief Scientist at Varonis. Yzhar has over 20 years of experience in Electronic Design Automation (EDA).

Yzhar started their career as a software engineer at Amdocs in 1997. Yzhar then moved on to SkyMap in 2001, where they were a startup engineer. In 2006, they joined Silicon Design Systems as a startup engineer. The company was closed in 2006.

Yzhar has been with Varonis since 2007. Yzhar has held various positions including Senior Principal Engineer and Director of Engineering before being promoted to Chief Scientist in 2016.

Yzhar Kayser has a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Yzhar Kayser reports to Yaki Faitelson, President, CEO, Chairman & Co-Founder. They work with Laura Ellen - VP, Channel, North America, Gilad Raz - CIO & VP, Technical Services, and Jim O'Boyle - SVP, Worldwide Sales.
