Andreas Hitzig

Andreas Hitzig is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of VARTA Group and has been recognized as the CIO of the Year 2025, receiving a special award for "Cyber-Resilience." With extensive experience in IT leadership, they previously served as Global Director IT/CIO at AMANN Group, where they developed comprehensive IT strategies and implemented digital transformation initiatives. Hitzig has also held senior IT positions at RECARO Aircraft Seating, SAF-HOLLAND, Georg Thieme Verlag KG, and Bosch Rexroth, focusing on the integration of innovative technologies and process optimization. They hold a Diplom Informatiker degree from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
