Kerstin Hessius

Kerstin Hessius has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Kerstin began their career at Alfred Berg in 1990, where they worked their way up to head of fixed income sales and trading. In 1998, they left Alfred Berg to join Danske Bank as head of asset management. After two years at Danske Bank, they were recruited by the Swedish government to serve as vice riksbankschef, or deputy governor, at Sveriges Riksbank, the central bank of Sweden.

In 2001, Kerstin was recruited by Nasdaq OMX to become its chief executive officer stockholmsbà rsen. Kerstin served in this role for three years before returning to Sveriges Riksbank in 2004. Kerstin left Sveriges Riksbank in 2007 to join the board of Stockholm School of Economics.

In 2010, Kerstin joined the board of Episerver and Björn Borg. The following year, they joined the board of Hemso Fastighets AB. In 2016, they left both Episerver and Björn Borg to join Vasakronan AB as a board member.

Kerstin Hessius has a bachelors degree from Stockholm University.
