Rahul Trivedi Sharma

Rahul Sharma joined the Vedanta group in 1998, and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Aluminam Business, effective April, 2019, prior to which he was working as Director - Corporate Strategy (Aluminium & Power). Sharma is leading the growth and expansion of the Lanjigarh refinery in Odisha to 6 MTPA.

Sharma has varied experience of over 25 years and has held various leadership positions at Vedanta Limited and Sterlite Technologies Ltd. Prior to joining Vedanta he was Chief Marketing Officer (Domestic & International) and Business Head- Integrated Management System at Sterlite Technologies Ltd.

He has played a significant role in driving various policies and creating a strategic framework for various government reforms for development of exploration, mining and non-ferrous metal sector in the country in the most sustainable manner.

Sharma is an alumni of IIM -A's Executive General Management program, has an MBA in Marketing and a B.E. in Electronics & Communication.
