Waylon Valladolid

Waylon Valladolid is a seasoned Sr Field Service Engineer at Veeco, with extensive experience in advanced deposition and etch technologies, including Ion Beam Etch, Atomic Layer Deposition, and Low Defect Density processes, since July 2017. Prior to Veeco, Waylon served as a Project Manager/Sr. Field Service Engineer at Nanotech Electromechanical Solutions, specializing in various systems such as Ion Beam and sputtering equipment. Waylon's career began at HGST, where as an Equipment Unit Manager, responsibilities included enhancing tool performance, leading KPI reviews, and managing maintenance schedules. Waylon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, completed from 1999 to 2003, and has participated in specialized training on Diamond Like Carbon Generation tools.
