Larry Rosen

VP, Pharmaceutical Product Development at Venatorx Pharmaceuticals

Larry Rosen is the VP of Pharmaceutical Product Development at Venatorx Pharmaceuticals. Larry has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on small molecule oral formulations and enabling technologies for poorly soluble drug candidates.

Larry began their career in 1991 as a Research Chemical Engineer at DuPont, where they worked on developing imaging systems. Larry then moved to Merck in 1993, where they spent 22 years working their way up to Director of Formulation Sciences. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the development of small molecule oral formulations and enabling technologies for poorly soluble drug candidates. Larry also contributed to four NDA/WMA submissions and served as co-chair of cross-functional oversight committee for small molecule programs in the Merck pipeline.

In 2015, Larry left Merck to join Venatorx Pharmaceuticals as VP of Pharmaceutical Product Development. In this role, they are responsible for leading Venatorx's drug development efforts and ensuring that all products meet FDA requirements. Larry has also played a key role in several successful NDA submissions.

Larry Rosen received their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. Larry also holds a Master of Arts in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania.

Larry Rosen reports to Christopher J. Burns, Founder, President & CEO. They are on a team with Heather Hunter - VP, Communications, Chitrananda Abeygunawardana - VP, Regulatory Affairs, and Tim Henkel - Chief Medical Officer.
