Gail Hambly

Gail joined the Board in 2019 and brings with her strong legal and governance expertise through deep professional experience, together with a great understanding of digital business. Gail has over 25 years’ experience as a senior executive. From 1992 to 2019 she was Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of Fairfax Media Limited, with responsibility for legal services, government and corporate relations, ASX compliance, internal audit and risk. She was also deeply involved in the growth and development of Fairfax Digital businesses including Domain, Stan Entertainment and its digital businesses. Gail holds current Directorship roles as Chair of Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership and of St Vincent’s Clinic, and is a Director at The Story Factory. Gail has degrees in Law and Arts from The University of New South Wales, degrees in Economics and Science from The University of Sydney. A Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
