John Rogers

John Rogers is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the defence and security sectors. Currently serving as the Executive General Manager for Defence at Ventia since July 2023, John previously held several high-level positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Strategy & Operations at Wilson Group from May 2019 to July 2023, and Chief Executive Officer at Wilson Security from May 2006 to May 2019. With a background that includes strategic roles in the New Zealand Defence Force and multiple managerial positions within the security industry, John has demonstrated leadership and innovation throughout a career spanning over three decades. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Management from the US Army Command and General Staff College and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the Australian Defence Force Academy.
