John Smith

John Smith has extensive experience in operations, supply chain, compliance, quality, and test management. John began their career in 1990 as an Operations Engineering Manager at Sun Microsystems, where they were responsible for product aligned organizational development and the development of a centralized web-based product information portal. In 2010, they joined Oracle America, Inc. as a Senior Operations Engineering Manager. In 2013, they were promoted to Director of Manufacturing Operations at Oracle - Acme Packet, where they were responsible for the successful integration of Acme Packet Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain. In 2017, they joined Symbotic (Robotics and Automation Warehouse Solutions) as Senior Director of Manufacturing and Product Engineering. In this role, they enabled a strategic plan to create a scalable supply chain solution, developed internal manufacturing capability, implemented shop floor control and quality management systems, addressed customer satisfaction problems, and identified supply chain optimizations. In 2019, they joined Veo Robotics, Inc. as Senior Director of Operations, Supply Chain, Compliance, Quality and Test.

John Smith attended Falkirk College of Technology, where they earned an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
