Timo Petmanson

Timo Petmanson is a Senior Data Engineer at Veriff since January 2022, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Google from 2018 to 2021, focusing on ads quality and app ads targeting. Timo worked as a Data Scientist at Venturebeam from 2015 to 2018, specializing in information extraction from the web through natural language processing and machine learning techniques. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer and Junior Researcher at the University of Tartu and STACC from 2010 to 2015, where Timo contributed to the development of the Estonian natural language processing toolkit (estnltk) and medical information extraction from Estonian electronic health records. Timo holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tartu, earned in 2012.
