Mariel Manaloto Cardenas

Mariel Manaloto Cardenas is a skilled medicinal chemistry research scientist currently employed at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since May 2022. In addition, Mariel serves as a communications editor and social media analyst at Organic Reactions since January 2022. Previously, Mariel held the role of senior scientist at Mirati Therapeutics from June 2021 to November 2021 and conducted research as a graduate student researcher at San Diego State University from August 2015 to June 2021, where Mariel completed a joint Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Earlier experience includes a position as a chemistry lab assistant at Ferring Pharmaceuticals in late 2011.
