Mark Bunnage

Mark Bunnage is the Senior Vice President & Head of Global Research at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, overseeing the global research organization encompassing various research sites and groups. Prior to joining Vertex, Mark held various leadership roles at Pfizer, including Vice President of Worldwide Medicinal Chemistry. With a strong background in chemistry and extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, Mark has played a key role in the discovery of multiple clinical candidates in various therapeutic areas. Mark is also a Visiting Professor in Chemistry at the University of Oxford.
