Vanessa Lani van den Akker

Vanessa Lani van den Akker began their work experience in 2017 as a Creative Activity Assistant at Oldael. After that, they worked at Sherlocked as a 3D Environment Artist while they were still a student. In 2021, they joined Ember Glitch as a 3D Art Intern. Currently, Vanessa is employed at Vertigo Games as a Junior Environment Artist starting in 2023.

Vanessa Lani van den Akker began their education at Erasmiaans Gymnasium from 2009 to 2011 where they completed their Middelbare School degree in Cultuur en Maatschappij. Vanessa Lani then attended Libanon Lyceum from 2011 to 2014 and obtained another Middelbare School degree, again in Cultuur en Maatschappij. Following this, they enrolled at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague | Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (KABK) from 2014 to 2017, specializing in Interactive Media Design. Finally, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Game art at HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) from 2018 to 2022.
