Katerina Pecinovsky

Katerina Pecinovsky has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katerina currently works as a Lead Technical Bid Engineer at Vestas since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Afton Chemical from 2016 to 2022, where they held two positions. As a Sr. CTS Technologist, they managed and coordinated various projects across different regions. Katerina also directly interacted with customers for technical services and project updates. Additionally, they worked as an R&D Engineer, where they planned, operated, and managed mechanical test equipment for engine oil development.

Before joining Afton Chemical, Katerina worked at General Motors from 2011 to 2016. Their roles at GM included Chassis Validation Engineer, Energy Engineering Specialist, and Vehicle Performance Engineer. Their responsibilities included validating chassis systems, working on energy engineering projects, and optimizing vehicle performance.

Katerina's earlier experience includes working as an Engineering Technician at Military Sealift Command in 2009.

Overall, Katerina has demonstrated expertise in technical bid engineering, project management, customer service, research and development, and engineering in the automotive industry.

Katerina Pecinovsky obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Global Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Michigan from 2012 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a DFSS Black Belt in January 2015, and they obtained an Engineer in Training Certification (EIT) in April 2011.
