Alberto Moccagatta

Alberto Moccagatta serves as the Senior Director of Accounting Operations and Special Projects at VIA Rail Canada since December 2024. Prior to this role, Moccagatta was with Logistec Corporation from June 2021 to December 2024, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Director of Financial Operations and Director of Financial Operations in the Finance Shared Services Center. From October 2019 to June 2021, Moccagatta held the position of Global Director of Treasury, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay at CCM Hockey. Moccagatta also worked at Cascades from April 2011 to October 2019 as Director of Order to Cash in the Finance Shared Services Center, overseeing the complete end-to-end finance order to cash process, along with experience as a Senior Financial Analyst in SAP. Moccagatta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Università degli Studi di Genova, alongside a diploma from Liceo Classico.
