Walid Rahman

Walid Rahman is a data scientist at Vianai Systems, Inc. since January 2020, with prior experience as a Data Science Fellow at Rho AI, where models for low greenhouse gas technologies were developed. Walid's background includes a data science internship at Veta Health, focusing on machine learning pipelines for medication dosing and longitudinal EHR data. As Founder and CEO of DaVinci Engineers Inc., leadership was demonstrated in creating a mechanical glove for patients with physiological tremors. Academic research experience encompasses a graduate assistant role at Columbia University on lab-on-chip assays for breast cancer diagnosis, and multiple undergraduate research assistant positions across various disciplines, including neuroscience and chemistry. Walid holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Columbia University.
