Doug Abts serves as Senior Vice President Strategic Planning and Corporate Development at [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc), Inc. Doug joined [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) in September 2015. Previously, he led [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s Global Mobility business line through a period of tremendous growth, served as Vice President, Strategic Development for Broadband Services and has managed multiple M&A transactions.

Doug has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of general management, finance, business development, operations, M&A, and strategic planning. Mark Dankberg is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Viasat, Inc. He co-founded the company in 1986.


As CEO, Mark focuses on advancing the strategic technology and business direction of Viasat. Jimmy Dodd is the President of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) Inc.’s Global Enterprise & Mobility business. In this role, he oversees [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)'s worldwide enterprise and mobility operations, strategically identifying new industries that can capitalize on [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s current and future satellite and connectivity capacity and capabilities. Key focus areas within his business include: business aviation, commercial aviation, connected cars, energy, maritime, and railway transportation, to name a few.

Jimmy’s team is focused on helping customers transform their businesses at scale through the power of high-speed, high-quality connectivity. Krishna Nathan serves as the Chief Information Officer at [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc), Inc. In this role, he leads the Company's digital transformation and platform initiatives using the latest methods in customer experience-centric processes, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation, among others. This combination of next-generation technologies is driving [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s ability to scale globally while responding to changing market dynamics and customer needs.

Krishna has more than 25-years of next-generation IT expertise. Prior to [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc), he was the CIO of [S&P Global](/org/sp-global), where he led a change management effort to embrace new business models based on emerging technologies like blockchain and AI. He also drove the migration to a cloud-based model. Prior to this role, he held various senior leadership and engineering positions at IBM, leading research and product efforts in AI and machine learning, storage and next-generation cloud data center architectures.

Craig Miller serves as President, Government Systems at [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc), Inc. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Company’s global defense business, which exceeds $1 billion in annual revenues by delivering cost-effective, innovative solutions to challenging defense requirements in satellite networks, tactical data links, information assurance, and cyber security.

Craig joined [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) in 1995, and has held numerous technology, business and strategic leadership roles. Prior to serving as President of Government Systems, he was the segment’s Chief Technology Officer where he was responsible for establishing and communicating the technical strategy and roadmaps for a diverse portfolio of defense products and services: including satellite communications, tactical networks, information assurance, cyber/network security and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.

Craig also launched the [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) Government Systems Space Business, which created XVI, the first Link 16-enabled LEO satellite; [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s mobile satellite communications gateway systems; and [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s Hybrid Adaptive Network capabilities. In addition to his role within [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s Government Systems business, Craig also worked with the design team of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s Space and Commercial Networks group, which developed the ViaSat-3 satellite constellation. In this role, he contributed to the design of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s next-generation satellite communications constellation and served as a liaison between [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s commercial and government business segments.

During their time at Northrop Grumman, David held various positions including Sector Vice President of Business Development and Vice President and Program Executive of the National Polar-Orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) program.

Rami Brusilovsky is the current Director of Channel Ad Sales at [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc). Prior to their current position, Rami served as a Mobile Global Brands Consultant at [Glispa](/org/glispa-gmbh), General Manager at Mobfox, and Client Partner at Twitter. In 2018, they became the User Acquisition Lead at [HERE Technologies](/org/here-technologies) before taking on the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Spartacs Technologies from 2015 to 2018. Patti Rutkin is the Director of US Residential Marketing at [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc). Patti has over fifteen years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital content and collateral development.

Rutkin began their career in 2003 with Verizon Wireless as the Associate Director of West Area Consumer Acquisition. In this role, they were responsible for driving subscriber growth and revenue in the West Area. Patti built a strategic roadmap and tactical media plan that led to 100K new activations in local markets. Patti also managed a $15 million budget designed to optimize media spend across various mediums.

In 2016, Rutkin joined Dell as the Senior Marketing Manager of Dell Security Solutions. In this role, they lead the Creative Services team charged with developing global digital marketing content. Patti managed the in-house development and production of marketing collateral and digital content, averaging 155 tactics per month. Patti also formalized the request queue process and management to effectively manage intake volume; resulting in reduction of rounds, quicker turnaround and less errors.

Rick Baldridge is the Vice Chairman of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc), Inc. and has been a director since 2016. He is focused on the remaining steps to closing the [Inmarsat](/org/inmarsat) acquisition, and the organizational integration planning and execution strategy to position the combined companies to achieve the financial and operational objectives underpinning the transaction – including cost, capital, and revenue synergies already identified


Rick joined [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) in 1999, serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer from 2000, as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2002, and as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2003. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in November 2020 and assumed the role of Vice Chairman in July 2022.

During Rick’s tenure, [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) has grown organically and through acquisitions by more than a factor of 10, to a multi-billion dollar technology company. Rick’s leadership has helped [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) evolve from a product manufacturer to a global services provider, now serving as a major prime contractor and technology partner to companies worldwide.

Rick has been featured in The San Diego 500, a list of influential business leaders in Southern California. He was elected to the Board of Directors of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) in 2016, as well as serves as a director of Ducommun Incorporated, a provider of engineering and manufacturing services to the aerospace and defense industries, and EvoNexus, a San Diego based non-profit technology incubator.

Rick joined [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) from Raytheon Corporation where he was Vice President and General Manager of Raytheon Training Systems. With more than 4,000 employees in the division, Rick held day-to-day management responsibilities, overseeing finance, legal, marketing and overall corporate operations.

Other experience includes roles as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration for Hughes Information Systems and Hughes Training Inc., before the divisions were acquired by Raytheon in 1997. Rick also held various senior management roles within General Dynamics Corporation.

He is responsible for the Company’s fixed broadband services in the U.S. and globally, which includes [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s residential and business internet service as well as its Community Internet offering, which brings affordable internet service to the hardest-to-reach locations around the world. Evan has been instrumental in growing [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s fixed consumer broadband business globally, which now serves hundreds of thousands of subscribers across the U.S. and key countries in Latin America, Europe and Africa.

Prior to his current position, Evan held a number of international senior leadership roles across [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc), including Vice President of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s Global Fixed Broadband business; Vice President and General Manager of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) Europe where he led [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s retail market entry into Spain, Norway and Poland; and Deputy CEO of [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc)’s prior joint venture with Eutelsat known as European Broadband Infrastructure Sàrl.

Before joining [Viasat](/org/viasat-inc) in 2015, Evan held senior management positions in [AT&T](/org/att), DIRECTV and [Yahoo!](/org/yahoo)

Evan earned a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from the University of Colorado—at Boulder and an MBA in Finance from [Pepperdine University](/org/pepperdine-university).

Dr. Wise is chief executive officer and principal for Utaza, LLC, a business advisory group focused on executive information technology (IT) strategy, customer-centric data analytics, mathematical modeling and revenue optimization. Prior, Dr. Wise served as senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of [Delta Air Lines](/org/delta-air-lines). During her tenure with Delta, she led a team of more than 2,000 professionals focused on leveraging technology solutions to enhance the customer experience. Before Delta, Dr. Wise held a number of positions at Northwest Airlines Corporation, serving as CIO, overseeing the airline's IT group until Northwest merged with Delta.
