Matthew Carluzzo is an experienced legal educator and administrator currently serving as the Assistant Dean of Students and Academic Success at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law since February 2019. Joining Villanova University in August 2014, Matthew also holds the positions of Director of the Paralegal Education Program and Director of Academic Success and Bar Support Programs, designing and instructing essential courses for law students. Prior to this, Matthew was the Director of the Academic Success Program and Assistant Professor of Law at Vermont Law School from December 2010 to August 2014. Additional experience includes roles as an associate at Gilbert LLP, Gilberty Oshinsky LLP, and Arnold and Porter, as well as serving as Dean of Cook Commons at Middlebury College and participating in AmeriCorps VISTA. Matthew holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a degree from Dartmouth College.
