Amadou Ly is an experienced environmental project manager and consultant, currently serving as Chargé de projets en environnement at Ville de Mirabel since February 2020, and as a Consultant for the National Climate Change Program's IGES sector since November 2016. Amadou has previously held positions including project manager at the Observatoire bassin versant (OBV) Fleuve Saint-Jean and consultant in environmental and social evaluation for InterMed ECS / Entreprise ALCO, where analyses were conducted on the environmental impact of quartz mining projects. Additional experience includes data analysis at Environnement Canada, project management at Chamard & Associés, and research on benthic fauna at the Centre Régional d’Etudes Biologiques et Sociales. Amadou holds a PhD in Ecology and Biodiversity Management from the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle in Paris, and specialized degrees in geographic information systems and environmental management.
