Clare Pelly

Clare Pelly is the Head of the Astronaut Office at Virgin Galactic since February 2013. Clare is responsible for the community of 600 Future Astronauts, who have signed up to be the first commercial passengers to space. Prior to this role, Clare worked as the Torch Production Manager for the Olympic & Paralympic Torch Relays at London 2012, where Clare coordinated the design, engineering, and manufacturing of the Torches. Clare also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, where Clare worked on projects across various industries and sectors. Clare holds a Geography degree from The University of Edinburgh and attended Woldingham School.
