Eric Kessler

Eric Kessler currently serves as the Assistant Environmental Section Manager for Natural Resources at the Virginia Department of Transportation since March 2022, also holding the title of Senior Natural Resource Specialist. In this role, Eric Kessler provides project-based solutions for permitting and coordination, generates mitigation strategies for wetlands and streams, and manages natural resource project efforts for Design-Build projects. Prior to this position, Eric Kessler worked as a Project Manager and Environmental Scientist at Froehling & Robertson, Inc. from November 2015 to March 2022, overseeing a variety of environmental projects and collaborating with diverse clients. Eric Kessler earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Roanoke College between 2011 and 2015.
