Franklin Johnson-Norwood

Franklin Johnson-Norwood MBA serves as the Assistant Vice President for Alumni Engagement and Advancement Services at Virginia State University since September 2021, where strategic leadership is provided to enhance alumni relations and foster a culture of philanthropy. Previous experiences include roles as Director of Alumni Relations and Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and Advancement Services at Summit Human Capital, as well as substantial training and consultancy work for various organizations supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, and other federal agencies. Franklin's educational background includes a Master's in Business Administration from Strayer University, a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems from Virginia State University, and ongoing doctoral studies in Higher Education Administration at The University of Southern Mississippi.
