Craig Messinger

Craig Messinger serves as Vice Chairman at Virtu Financial since September 2015, with responsibilities in trading, sales, and product management, while also participating on the board of directors for DTCC and its Risk and Tech committees. Prior to this role, Messinger held various senior positions, including Executive VP and Global Head of Trading and Risk at BNY Mellon, where leadership spanned global markets from 2011 to 2015, and Managing Director at Pershing LLC, overseeing global markets, prime brokerage, and execution services from 2005 to 2011. Earlier experience includes serving as President at Fidelity Investments, managing all capital markets operations, and as President of Lehman Brothers Canada, where responsibilities included trading, sales, and investment banking. Messinger's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School and executive education in business strategy from Harvard University.
